Evolution Vs Creation

Evolution or Creation ? How did life start here on earth ? what did the first sunrise light on this earth ? Complex organisms as we see today or single celled ones ? It is an age old dialogue, started more than a century ago and still not settled. Now before reading ahead, do not assume that I am a top notch scientist or a known religious scholar, no I am not I am just as knowledgeable as you are, but for some reason I was thinking about this, so it's more like a 'thinking out loud' scenario here.
Coming back to this theory of evolution that Charles Darwin presented (1859), we see the world divided in two groups, one that agrees with Darwin and the other that believes in the Theory of Creation. Darwin said organism as we see them today were not created in this shape or state but infact have evolved from single celled organisms and then gone over transformation stages through time. In contrast to what Darwin believed, supporters of the theory of creation advocate that every thing has been created by one supreme being 'as is', they do not agree with the idea that a bird with no wings learned to grow wings over time and started flying neither would the agree for such an event going other way round.
This is where I think they have both ignored one simple fact, why can't both the theories be correct ? ofcourse the theories step on each others toes at some points, but if we look closer we will find that minus some points from Darwin's theory , they compliment each other ! How you may ask..
Well, have you ever heard of chess playing computer programs, that learn from their opponent i.e. they become wiser every time they play with a human, how ? they learn how the human reacts to their moves. Similarly, there are robots that haven't been programmed with any particular senses but learn through their reflexes and sensors like vision and sounds. The thing to notice here is, when we humans can create 'devices' that can 'learn' or in other words evolve , why can't the one who created humans themselves do the same ? The difference is , we do not have the technology to create things that can evolve physically today, but that supreme being does !
So in my view, Darwin is correct in saying that certain organisms did evolve but he is wrong in dismissing the fact that the organism has completely evolved from a single cell or humans were actually apes. In my humble opinion each organism was created by God and because he has unmatched mastery of creation , his creations are able to learn and evolve mentally as well as physically, a bird might have evolved wings to fly higher or faster , a fish might have evolved fins that can help it glide in air above water level but that bird and fish were created by God to what they were before they evolved to their new shape. They were given the power to evolve so they can fit in changing circumstances.
I have seen,heard and read religious scholars denounce Darwin, I think we need to open up and analyze opinions with scientific minds, extract the parts that ooze logic and then assess it instead of dismissing theories right away because they are defying our beliefs, because buried in those theories might be true answers which may actually help us witness the true grandeur of our Lord.

The Stunt Rider....

If you observed the last decade or so closely, when our loving neighbors, The Chinese started pouring in low cost consumer goods into our lands, you have witnessed how quantity won over quality. Not too long after that, we saw low cost chinese motor bikes raining down on us. I believe it is just a matter of time when one day the road side paan wala will hand you a flyer reading...

Now that's development at the GRASS ROOT LEVEL, it is entirely a different story how that development has earned fortunes for the police, mechanics, washing machine makers , fan makers etc. These dime a dozen motor bikes with their speedy feats have brought out hidden talent from amongs those who were either pedestrians or spent the day pedalling a sohrab, hence creating a rare, found mostly in Pakistan, breed called The Stunt Rider.

These stunt riders can amaze anyone anywhere, from speeding in oppsoite direction on a busy road to railing the footpaths, no traffic jams are jams for these superb maneuverers of machines unless their eagle eyes fail to spot a man-hole in their way.... after all they are just as human as you and me are .... believe me. Some of these creatures' brainless acts of shame , oh my bad I meant fearless acts of fame, are worthy of international recognition, i.e. riding a less than 100 feet wide one way road in the opposite direction WITH CHILDREN ON BOARD !!! isn't that an honourable deed ? but we are an unfortunate nation, the police men who are supposed to keep crowning such prominent faces are too busy doing their duties, with such diligence that these stars of the day get neglected 99% of the times.

Sometimes these honourable policemen even forget to give green signals to a stopped horde of vehicles, in such dire situations it is once again these Stunt Riders on their mechanical chinese steeds who give this impatient horde the required 'break through' and it is only this 'breaking through' that the extremely honest police man is obliged to look away from his duty for a while and start shooing the flies, but if you watch closely it is his very friendly gesture of demonstrating a Green signal to an already flowing traffic stream who might not even notice the polluted white uniform among the beggars.

Among the Stunt Riders you will find people of all ages and races, but they all are Stunt Riders. No power on earth can separate this spirit of chinese origin from them once they start their bikes. No degrees no masjids no moulvi's can keep them away from these every day stunts. It is indeed this spirit of freedom that makes these riders fly with a 70 cc chinese super machine. Why spend a fortune for Yamaha R1 or Suzuki Hayabusa ?.

These Riders the Stunt Riders have unmatched patriotism , as aomngst them live people who advocate less corrupt newer law and order system, and to prove their point they demonstrate breaking the system, and yet they do not publicly admit this heroism because they do not want fame for themselves , they only emphasise the weakness of our traffic police at wedding dinners as responsible citizens.

Let not your vision preach to you an image of these riders, that clashes with Responsible Citizen idea, keep in mind they are doing their duties of raising awareness. Before the scribe closes this page, let him be very honest ..... if you , dear reader, ever see me trying the acts of shame of a Stunt Rider, please pardon me then and there, I beg to remind you that we are Pakistanis we can have huge gulfs between what we say and do, that's our right as Pakistanis , dont you think ?
